Sterilize your toothbrush. Germs grow here! Cold and flu season are especially important times to do this. And, if someone in the house is sick, be sure to keep that toothbrush away from the rest. You might consider a travel-size tube of toothpaste that won't be shared by the healthy folks and can be tossed later. This will avoid spreading germs to others.
