Shift Work- Negative Effects on Pregnancy?

Many worry that staying up all night, or throwing off usual circadian (night and day) rhythms can be harmful. A recent review of 23 studies, published in the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, found that "shift work was not strongly linked to preterm delivery", and "effects on birth size are likely to be small". Irregular work hours can throw off sleep, eating and exercise habits, so if you do work them, take care of yourself by catching up on sleep when you can, eating healthy, and maintaining your exercise.
