WeeCare moms share...

We love to hear from you and welcome your suggestions for other expectant moms (and dads).

It is common practice to take a combination of vitamin B6 and Unisom to control nausea and vomiting. Doctors and midwives recognize this as a safe OTC treatment that may do the trick without adding expensive prescription drugs to the regimen.

I recently spoke with a WeeCare mom who was using this combination and who shared a product she found more effective than the traditional B6 in tablet form. She recommended Nano Super B Complex by Spray for Life, which is a multiple B vitamin in a spray, used under the tongue (sublingual), containing extra folate (good for pregnant moms and a minimum of 400 mcg/day is recommended; more is fine), B12 (low levels have been implicated in depression and it is needed for iron absorption but not absorbed well through tablets; sublingual is a better option) and B6 (the one that helps control nausea in pregnant moms).
This WeeCare mom had several children and she said it was the best she treatment she had ever found, allowing her to control the "morning sickness" without additional anti-nausea medications. This is not a product endorsement by WeeCare, but a good suggestion from one of our participants.

Please comment if you have found good methods to control the nausea and vomiting of pregnancy. Best Blogger Tips
